Karen Kingsbury - Like so many other Christian women, Karen Kingsbury is one of favorite authors. Although I love all of her books, I highly encourage you to read the Baxter Series which begins with the Redemption Series.
Redemption (Redemption Series-Baxter 1, Book 1)
Not My Will by Francena Arnold - Originally written in 1946, this a book that few have read but all should read. I was so excited to see that they re-released it. I first read this book when I was in middle school and have read it several times since. This book holds a very special place in my heart.
Christy Miller Series by Robin Jones Gunn- May be too young for you, but I highly suggest the Christy Miller Series for teenage girls. I stayed up way too late as a teenager wondering what would happen to Christy and Todd. But along the way I learned a lot of moral lessons through the characters' lives. Start with Summer Promise/A Whisper and a Wish/Yours Forever - The Christy Miller Series 1-3
Janette Oke - Another great author with so many books to choose from. Roses for Mama
