Suggested Activities:

• Bible:
- My Creation Book  For next few weeks, the child will learn that God made them very special.  Collect all of the activities and crafts to form a "Thank You, God, for Making Me" book.  At the end of the study, a cover worksheet will be provided to bind the pages together. 

God Made People Poster With a piece of construction paper as the background, add pictures of people found in magazines and newspapers.  Try to find a mixture of men, women, children, nationalities, ages, etc.  Add the title "God Made People" and the number "6."

God Made People Using the song Jesus Loves the Little Children as the main idea, color the people on the God Made People worksheet red, yellow, black, and white.  Point to the corresponding child as you sing the song.

- As you look through books, talk about how God made people all different - age, size, appearance, personalities, etc.

• Number:
Apple Tree 4 Worksheet This week use orange paint and a jumbo paint brush to decorate the Apple Tree #4.  Add four apple stickers.  Continue to count items throughout the day.

• Self-care and Manners:
Start with the child taking off his pants or shorts. End with the shirt.  As you take off the various articles of clothing, be sure to name each item.

• Book of the Week:
- Name Palm TreeColor the Name Tree worksheet and add the letters of the child's name using letter stickers or by writing them.  Tie this activity to the Bible story, "God Made Me."
- The focus of this book is on the alphabet.  Use this book to say the letters A-P that have been learned so far in the curriculum.  Point to the letters as you say them.

• Fine Motor Skill:
pumpkin face Carve a pumpkin making the face out of various shapes learned.  Allow your child to dig out and count the seeds. Have your child pick up the seeds using his/her thumb and index finger.

• Gross Motor Skill:
Place pillows, couch cushions, or anything soft on the floor for the child to crawl over. Have fun making mountains and climbing peaks! If the weather is nice, rake a big pile of leaves.
