Items Needed:

Tactile Numbers and Letters: 0-6, Aa–Ii
Books: Frog, Where Are You?, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Goodnight Moon, The Runaway Bunny
Games: Colorama, Go Fish
Activities: Rolled-up sock, laundry basket, bag or basket, blank paper

 

Objectives:

Numbers: 0-6
Letters: Aa-Ii
Shapes: Oval, Heart, Rectangle, Triangle, Circle, Square, Star, Diamond
Name: Trace over tactile letters with finger

Fine Motor Skill:  Draw My Family
Gross Motor Skill:  Basketball

 

Suggested Activities:

Review all objectives and books covered in the past weeks, and complete any activities that you were unable to finish.

• Math:
- Place all of the shapes in a bag or basket.  Without looking, feel and then name the shape.

-  Play Colorama and review colors and shapes.

• Letters and Numbers:
Play Go Fish with numbers and/or letters.

• Fine Motor Skills:
  Write "My Family" on the bottom of a blank piece of paper.  Have your child draw her family.  Write the date on the back of the picture and save the picture to compare with past and future drawings.

• Gross Motor Skills:
Play basketball with a rolled-up sock and a laundry basket.
