Gingerbread Craft

Gingerbread People

Provide the child with a gingerbread person worksheet and a variety of craft supplies such as rickrack, pom poms, sequins, buttons, and crayons. Encourage them to decorate their gingerbread person with their favorite designs, creating unique and colorful characters. 

Alternatively, you can bake gingerbread-shaped sugar cookies and have the children decorate them. Set up a painting station with a mixture of egg white and food coloring for the children to "paint" on their cookies. You can also offer sprinkles or colored sugar to make the cookies extra festive.

Paint the child's hand to make a handprint on construction paper.  Add the phrase "Jesus Loves Me" at the bottom. This is a reminder of how Jesus loves them personally.
